A little historical background about the town of Tossa de Mar is not to be missed. With the construction of the castle for which the town is now famous, Tossa de Mar was born. The village has a beautiful bay in which, on the right hand side, you will find the medieval building. This is the old part of Tossa. You can walk up to the castle and the lighthouse. It’s a bit of a climb, but the views are stunning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This charming spot, with its large terrace and panoramic sea views, is the perfect place to relax after a hike. The Mare Meva restaurant and the lighthouse form a single entity and are considered one of the must-visit places in Tossa de Mar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t expect haute cuisine or complicated dishes, but let yourself be enchanted by the magical views that make the wine taste that little bit more special. Reservations recommended!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
